DefinitionThe supplier SIL documentation shall be delivered if the component or system/assembly is part of realizing a safety instrumented function specified in the Safety Requirement Specification (SRS) with SIL requirement.Content requirement for the supplier SIL documentation are given in appendix E3 in NOROG - 070. Supplier SIL documentation may be delivered under various forms:• as single document called Safety Manual, • as several documents incl. e.g. a IEC61508 certificate and a Safety Manual • or as part of another document.
